Today, the Pulszky Society – Hungarian Museum Association held the Exhibition of the Year 2025 awards ceremony and professional conference at the Petőfi Literary Museum.
Sándor Balogh, Director of Museum Operations and Collection Management at the Money Museum, also took part in the roundtable discussion entitled "What is an exhibition good for? – Age groups and visitor groups with special needs in museum exhibitions."
The discussion focused on inclusion and equal opportunities: what does inclusion mean in the museum world, and how can an exhibition appeal to all visitors regardless of age, background, or abilities?
Using the example of the Money Museum, the discussion touched on topics such as the Traveling Museum initiative, which specifically aims to reach disadvantaged communities, as well as cooperation with civil organizations and further efforts to promote inclusion.
