The Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center places great importance on fostering financial awareness from an early age. However, our mission extends beyond the museum, as our goal is to make financial education accessible to as many people and in as many places as possible.

In this spirit, thanks to our cooperation with the Erzsébet Alapítvány, which organises the camps, we will continue to be actively present at the Erzsébet-táborok at Lake Balaton in Zánka and Fonyódliget in the summer of 2025. We offer creative, interactive activities to introduce the children attending the camps to the world of financial literacy in a playful way.

Our programmes provide participants with age-appropriate, experiential learning on basic topics such as digital money management, the risks of data theft and digital footprints, banknote security and developing business ideas. Participants can also take part in an adventure game that takes them back to the Hungarian Revolution of 1848.

Although the new school year begins in September, financial education classes will continue this month. During the autumn period, the content of the Erzsébet-táborok ' classes will be partially revised, with a greater focus on topics more closely related to everyday financial life. Data handling, money management and digital financial literacy will still be part of the programme, but more emphasis will be placed on family budget planning and the practical aspects of responsible money management.

During the sessions, children acquire useful knowledge and develop skills that will encourage them to make conscious and responsible financial decisions in the long term.
