On September 25, the European Museum Academy (EMA) officially begun its annual conference and awards ceremony, co-organized by the Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center.
On the opening day of the event series, museum professionals and managers had the opportunity to visit the Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center, winner of the 2023 DASA Award.

This evening, September 26, the Heritage in Motion awards ceremony took place in the Lámfalussy Conference Hall of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. This year, the prestigious award was won by the Hands Deep – A Journey Into Demoscene (FI) project.

In addition to the grand prize, winners were also announced in three further subcategories. In the New digital experiences category, the Mouthful of Dust (AU)  project, in the Virtual and augmented reality category, the Historycity (IT-GB) project was recognized, while the Hands Deep – A Journey Into Demoscene (FI) project also won in the Heritage audiovisuals category.

The Heritage in Motion Award recognizes innovative multimedia and audiovisual projects that serve to present, explore, or preserve cultural heritage around the world and open new avenues for the public to access heritage collections.
